OTTAWA DECK AND RAIL INSTALLATION SERVICES ARE COVERED UNDER A 5 YEAR INSTALLATION WARRANTY FOR THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:

• Broken or damaged lag bolts

Ottawa Deck and Rail warrants that under conditions of normal use its “Home-Rail Aluminum Railing System” will be free from defects in the structure for 10 years and the “Home-Rail Aluminum Powder Coating Finish” will not crack, peel, flake or blister for 10 years.

10 YEAR WARRANTY LIMITATIONS

This warranty does not cover damage due to normal weathering, chalking, scratching, fading, corrosive atmosphere contaminants (i.e. Chemical fumes, pollution, acid rain) volcanic ash, lightening, windstorms, tornadoes or any other act of god, explosions, riots, war, misuse or abuse, or other causes beyond the control of the company.

This warranty does not include any screws or any other fasteners, any PVC components or glass used in the assembly or installation of the railing. The warranty does not cover the installation of the aluminum railing.

The company will not be required to honor this warranty if any rail or component has been modified, altered or changed in any manner at time of installation or there after, or from any damage or claim resulting from movement or any change to structure on which the products are installed.

The company will not be required to honor this warranty without being given a responsible opportunity to have its’ representative investigate any claim made. If after investigating the claim, the company determines the claim is valid, the companies’ sole liability and the owners’ only remedy shall be as follows:

The company may choose to either repair or replace any of the railing which is deemed defective by the company. The cost of materials to repair or replace the railing only are warranted, any other incidental costs are excluded specifically.

The company will make effort to provide color matches for custom colored rail whenever possible. The company cannot provide exact color matches in all situations.

• Upon request of exercising the warranty, Ottawa Deck and Rail customers are responsible for sending a photo of the damage to info@ottawadeckandrail.com so that we may assess the damage and determine an appropriate course of action. Upon determining a course of action, an installer will be sent within 5 business days to perform the repair.
